Overview

The SHER Lab is conducting an ongoing citywide survey to map youth sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services across New Orleans. This project recognizes that education, care, and resource distribution often occur in settings not traditionally associated with sexual health—such as youth programs, community organizations, and mutual aid spaces.

Many organizations offer critical SRH support but may not have the capacity to document, advertise, or coordinate these services widely. By gathering information directly from local organizations, this survey aims to highlight existing work, identify gaps and needs, and support stronger collaboration across the network of agencies serving youth.

The results will contribute to the development of a publicly accessible community guide to youth SRH resources in New Orleans, created with organizations and shared back with them to help increase visibility and access.

Share Your Organization’s Perspective

If your organization provides services to youth in New Orleans, we invite you to participate in the survey!

The survey takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete and can also be done by phone, Zoom, or in person if preferred. Organizations are welcome to share the link with the staff member best positioned to answer questions about youth programming or services.

Any personal information you submit (e.g., your name or role) will remain confidential and will not be published. The questions are exploratory and intended to capture individual perspectives—not to represent the official stance of your organization. Responses are not a commitment, but a tool to help identify needs and interests across the city.
